Given that the nature of our treatments, it is often the case that, if it is your first time, names and terminology may be new to you. As the treatments are given a medical name, it can seem daunting at first. To help with that, we’ve explained each of our treatments and procedures below. The aim is to help you understand them, hopefully making it easier for you to make a decision on which treatment you would like. As always, we are here to answer any questions you may have and put any concerns to rest.

Photo biomodulation (Bio Photo modulation)

Photo biomodulation, also known as the collagen bed, uses red light and near infrared light to treat multiple skin concerns. Our machine, custom made for our clinic, has multiple wavelengths of light. This is aimed at improving the health and beauty of the skin. This treatment is excellent for skin renewal as it encourages the production of collagen. Increased production of collagen means a faster cell turnover, resulting in healthier, glowing, younger looking skin. This treatment is also great for pain management in the body and stimulate blood flow. The stimulation of the blood flow may help manage your blood pressure as well.

Electromagnetic Stimuli (High Intensity Focused Electromagnetic Muscle Stimulation)

This is a machine which uses paddles to send electromagnetic stimuli to the muscles, mimicking the contractions and muscle movements which would normally happen during exercise. Through the paddles attached to specific body parts, electromagnetic waves are sent, causing them to contract. This treatment can be combined with radio frequency for further results. The treatment aims to build and tighten the muscles. There are two modes on the machine: professional mode and smart mode. Smart mode is pre-set to each body part but can be personalised to each client based on their needs. The treatment does not work to eliminate existing loose skin. If this is a concern, another treatment would be required.

Cryolipoloysis

Cryolipoloysis is used for fat freezing and fat dissolving. This treatment is most often used to get rid of stubborn stomach fat from specific areas, mainly the lower stomach. The machine uses a cooling system; aluminium plates are attached to the machine which is then placed on the area being treated. The cooling system is then used to freeze the fat. The procedure is possible at the fat cells are only frozen to the point where they start to break down. The fat is held between the plates to specifically target an area and selectively break down the fat cells. Each cell doesn’t freeze at the same temperature, so for each person and body area, the temperature will be different.

Pressotherapy

Pressotherapy is a medical and beauty procedure which uses alternate air pressure to massage the body. The treatment involves a silver suit with individual parts for each leg, arm, and a sleeve for the midsection. This method of massage encourages the lymphatic system to drain toxins. The rhythmic pumping of the machine encourages healthy lymphatic flow. One of the benefits of healthy lymphatic drainage is increased blood flow. Increased blood flow may help reduce sweeling in certain parts of the body such as the legs and fingers. This treatment is good for relieving aches and pains, reducing fluid congestion, reducing tiredness, and firming the skin. Pressotherapy can also be combined with a deep tissue massage using the hand attachment for added benefits.

Carboxytherapy

Carboxytherapy is a non-surgical, cosmetic, medical treatment used to reduce cellulite, under eye circles, and early wrinkles. This treatment can be used to boost hair volume, prevent hair thinning, and reduce the look of stretch marks and scars. It can be used to treat and fight acne scars and psoriasis. Carboxytherapy is carried out using tiny needles to inject small amounts of carbon dioxide into the target area. This treatment tricks the body into thinking it needs to renew itself, therefore triggering cell production. Increased cell production leads to increased cell turnover, resulting in healthier, younger looking skin.

Platelet Rich Plasma

For this treatment, a sample of blood is taken and placed in a centrifuge. This separates the plasma form the other components of the blood. Plasma is rich in platelets which hold many great growth factors, which can then be used to regenerate the skin and stimulate the production of collagen and elastane. Elastane helps to keep the skin looking smooth and softer. This is a great option for anyone looking for natural treatments as it only uses the client’s blood. It can be used for natural face and hair enhancement and may give a great youthful glow.
